Keith's Website Updated

I have spent some time this weekend working on my website. http://home.tir.com/~zombie/

Most of the changes are cosmetic but I did make some headway on my Champions game pages. It is my goal to have both game pages, Remedy and Pulse, completely up to date by the end of September.

That said, I will need to get updated characters from some of you. I still need copies of Bruce's Agent Muffin with updates (I have an old copy on the site), Bruce's Fadeout, Dave's Gomuk and Jon's Wonder Man. I will work to finish updating certain chracters, Steve's Micron, Daren's ABEL, Randy's Unknown , Randy's Dog (Rx) and Russ' Cold Fire.

I know that this is the Tuesday Game Blog but who need to make Champions characters for Sunday? Kay, Brian and Joe?

As for the D&D portions of my site, what do you guys want to see there? I can post characters if people get them to me. Is anyone interested in doing summaries of the sessions or completed adventures? Do you want to keep track of treasure pick order and treasure passed out? Anything else? Ideas?

Same questions for the HEX page. What would you like to see?

Keith

  2. Hi there. Well, this is very, erm, late, because I just saw the link and clicked over to hear about the Tuesday games I can't (regrettably) EVER attend.

I would LOVE to make a champions character to participate when you return and want to run it on Sunday. I of course don't know how and don't have any materials. I am a quick study. Point me in the right direction, tell me what kind of character might be a good fit, and let's do it! (HURRAY!).

  3. Kay,

The idea for starting characters is that you are a normal person living in a normal world. You have skills and talents and regular person statistics. You would likely have a profession. You would also have real person problems. You would not have anything in the way of special powers. (In game terms this equates to 25 points to spend and up to an additional 50 to spend as long as you take an equal amount of disadvantages.)

The setting is in the Detroit area. Something strange happened at the Detroit Fireworks and people, you included, are stating to manifest powers. This is not wide-spread yet but people are starting to notice strange things. (Again in game terms this equates to 125 points to spend and up to an additional 100 to spend as long as you take an equal amount of disadvantages. Total = 150 point experience base and 150 points of disadvantages.)

If you would like, I can make a chracter for you. Ket me know what ideas you have for who you want to be and what kinds of super-powers that you would like to have. I would recommend this for the first time out. If you don't like something, we can always change it.

Remember to start with a concept for a real world person and then make that person a superhero.

I am open to most character concepts. I will be updating my site soon with more characters and game recap information. This should give you the flavor of the game.

  4. I highly recommend letting Keith do the numbers on your character. Hero System is the most complex game we play.

How many points are we at?

  5. At last check I had you at 300 total (150 point experience base and 150 points of disadvantages).
    It's on the site.

I did not have any experience listed. I know we ran several sessions but a lot of character flux has occurred. I figured that you guys would correct me if I missed the XP.

  6. Dude it's been FOREVER since you gave us XP.

  7. The Remedy Page has been updated. I published 400 pt versions of Daren's, Kara's, Shawn's, Steve's and Bruce's characters.

I am still working on Dave's, Randy's and Al's. Should be posted soon.

  8. Rx (Dog) and Seraph have been uploaded.

    Randy,

I made some changes to your character. I believe that they are in line with what you were trying to do. There was some mechanical issues that I "fixed". I also spent your "Nanoverse" experience. I also made him a bit more combat effective. We can discuss and change things if you are unhappy with what I did.

  9. I doubt I will be. Champions is pretty blurry to me now.
