- The group has made it's way to the town of Whitehill, which has just suffered a goblin raid
- The goblins came from the sewer, ran amok for a few minutes, then beat feet out of town
- Some outlying farms have suffered livestock attacks
- The group tracked goblins to their lair
- After clearing out the goblin lair (with hobgoblin boss), the group discovers a crevasse that leads into the bowels of the Earth
- Goblin chief Sanack got away
- Boss Kreef had a letter from a superior stating he was in big trouble if his "witless goblin minions" had broken the surface
- The adventurers meet the Red King, who gives them the mandate to explore these underground caverns
- The adventurers climb down the crevasse from the ruins the goblins had infested. They found a mining operation run by hobgoblins, using goblins as slave labor
- Adventurers kill off most goblins they encounter, leaving only Thak alive.
- Adventurers defeat hobgoblin overseers. All hobgoblins and goblins killed either through fight with adventurers or "something else happened." Thak isn't happy all the goblin females are dead but keeps his little green mouth shut.
- Adventurers discover The Way; an ancient and mysterious underground highway
- Adventurers follow The Way to hobgoblin lair (formerly lair of Cheif Sanack's goblin tribe)
- Assault on hobgoblin lair follows. Does not go well. Half of group captured. Thak disappears

- Free adventurers start assault on the hobgoblin camp as Thak and Beatris steal their gear back from a hobgoblin hut
- Hobgoblin chief was entertaining a Drow who revealed that the author of the note on Boss Kreef was a priestess named Zhana. The adventurers finish him off while the remainder of the hobgoblin tribe run away
- Adventurers spend some time in Whitehill before exploring further. A curious property of The Way was revealed: there was a wave of movement down the hall and a new offshoot appeared! It lead to an underground city called Shaori's Fell.
- Shaori's Fell is a cursed city. All the inhabitants are doomed to play Opposite Day over and over again. Winged elves that let their wings molt and live in a dank cave, librarians that burn books, merchants that hate selling, etc. Adventurers learn from Queen Shaori (now a bitter hermit in a cave) that the curse has something to do with an artifact called the shattered mirror.
- Adventurers begin collecting pieces of the mirror while occasionally fighting drow.
- Adventurers learn that dead drow come back as driders in Shaori's Fell.
- Climactic battle in Shaori's throne room. Many Mirror Effects called into play. Adventurers win! Wheee!
- Shaori gives Adventurers the now-whole Shattered Mirror before returning to her mountain home
- The party makes their way to the drow metropolis of Menzoberran. There is much buying of gear and stoat-shopping.
- Chevre buys a map to a "big-treasure wizard town" from a rat-man, after much interrogation. The map leads to the ruins of Alsigard the Maker's complex. After sneaking into the Menzoberran library, the group discovered that Alsigard was an epic-level maker of golems who withdrew from public life over 300 years ago. Alsigard had an apprentice that handled his affairs towards the end, until even that communication dried up. Since then, anyone that has gone to see Alsigard got crushed by a golem.
- The group meets a party of Duergar, lead by Dascha. They explain that they have been trying to loot the Maker's ruins but are being stymied by the golem guardians and a ressurector golem that can teleport.
