I expect that we have two more weeks before completing the Ruby Phoenix Tournament. My estimate is based upon how things have gone so far. (I'm not sure how this could be expected to be run in 10 hours or so.)
After that is done, I plan to take a break from Pathfinder for a while. I would like to playtest my Gen Con HEX scenarios. I have the high level plot and crunchy bits of the adventures worked out. I do not have the detailed write-up finished. I am currently working on the player characters. I am asking everyone to play a pregenerated character that I will supply. Over the course of the 4 adventures you will have the opportunity of playing 3 or 4 different characters.
The goal is to play each adventure in a single session but I am expecting there will be some time wasting and it will likely take 6 weeks for us to finish all of the material.
After that I would really like to run All For One. This will require everyone to have a player character and a lackey. I know that Bruce, Dave and David have been working on their guys but I have not heard anything from the rest of the group. I do not want to waste a game session just to work on characters if we can help it. The first adventure will take us 3 to 4 weeks to play.
That leaves about 3 or 4 "open" game sessions between now and Gen Con. What would you guys like to do to fill those?

ReplyDeleteI haven't been working on an AFO guy. I haven't looked at any of the material for it. All I've heard is that it's like Three Musketeers with magic and there's that goofy make up a character for someone else to play mechanic.
..I'm sure we'll come up with something to fill in 3 or 4 open sessions before gen con, at least I'm sure we will have plenty of time to talk about it.
