What Should I Run Next?

I am trying to determine what to prepare next.

There are a few PFS scenarios I am interested in running from Season 7. One is a 3-7 and the other is a 5-9. I also have an interest in running a new evergreen 3-7 scenario from Season 8.

Is there any interest in playing some CORE PFS? We have a ton of options open to play (almost the entire PFS catalog).

What is the interest level in playing some more Shadows of Brimstone?

Would you be interested in an RPG game using the SoB setting? Likely would use the Ubiquity system to create the characters and play the game. I also have a couple of non-PFS Pathfinder games rolling around in my head. I also have some ideas for more Ubiquity Supers. All of these will take some work and will likely not be ready until early 2017.

  1. Shadows of brimstone board game and the supers sound like fun.

  2. The RoW book will keep us busy in to next year. I want to skip running on the week I am on call (Dec 6), so that might be a good time for a PFS or SoB.

Homebrew Pathfinder sounds cool. Get a chance to play some stuff we normally cant...

  3. ... and I could run the rest of Racing to Ruin. Some people would have to make up characters. I really want to get my 3rd star before convention season 2017.

Home brew sounds fun. AS does SoB hex.

    1. I assumed that you wanted to take a little break now and will likely need another in the future. Are you going to try running both APs at the same time?

    2. I need I break to read up. Not 4 months off. BUT I do want that 3rd star .

    3. How many table credits are you shy?

I am 8 credits away from 150 but I still need to run 9 more specials to hit my 5th star. I figure that I could run some for you guys as Core (Because enough of you have played them regular) but folks would need to advance their Core characters and be willing to play Bonekeep 1-3 (3-7, 3-7, 5-9) with Core characters. The other two specials are with pregens which could be applied when the characters reach those levels (7th and 8th I believe).

  4. I can have a PFS ready to run on 12/6. Looks like folks have choices at either 3-7 or 5-9. Is there a preference?

    1. I want to play Effluvia and she is 5th. So either for me.
Is there a boon for either scenario that may influence a decision?

    2. I got a 5th I'd like to play, Drexl

    3. There is a Grand Lodge boon on the 5-9 scenario.

    4. I am going to run the 5-9, Captive in Crystal. Sounds like you will be playing the low sub-tier.

      Dave - Effluvia (Arcanist)
      Bruce - Drexl (Witch)
David - Best choices for sub-tier are oracle, shaman, druid or arcanist
      Kelly - Choice of barbarian/sorcerer or rogue/sorcerer
Alan - Best choices for sub-tier are ranger/rogue or paladin
Randy - Has to play out of sub-tier with a 7th pregen or his cavalier or his skald (Ser Roland might need an easier mission to get his confidence back :) )
Steve - Best choices for sub-tier are rogue/barbarian or slayer

    5. WTF is so funny?

Anyway, if there's a boon for Grand Lodge I'll run Owonga M'Toombo instead of Effluvia.

    7. Dave - Either works. You can make it a game-time decision.

    8. Shit dude. Owonga and Al-Maresh could use an easy one to get confidence back, yeah?

    9. I was thinking that too. But they won't be out of tier for this one. I guess we just need to get back on Bob.

    10. For the record, I did not say this was any easy one (still need to finish reading it). I was just making an observation that a higher tier guy in a lower tier scenario usually has an easier time.

  5. I also have the rest of The Dragon's Demand. We should finish that one up too.

  6. Also keep in mind that RoW #2, the Shackled Hut, must be assigned to a lvl 5-7. Snows of Summer had to go to a 1-2.

  7. Can we apply Serpant's skull to Core char?

    1. It can be if you want that character to no longer be Core.

    2. Right, you can apply it to a core character but it will change them from core to RPG, and they can no longer play as core.

  8. Just an FYI I have a scheduled Fisher date on Dec 13th.
