U-Con 2016

U-Con is fast approaching. It will be Friday, 11/11/16-Sunday, 11/13/16. More detail can be found at https://www.ucon-gaming.org/.

Is anyone other than Bruce and I planning to go? Shawn from Kokomo is considering coming and was looking to maybe share a room. If we get at least one more person we can get 2 rooms at about $100 a guy for the weekend.

What are we doing on Tuesday?  Strange Aeons?  HEX?  Reign of Winter?

Origins 2017

Hard to believe but it is time to start planning for Origins 2017 (at least from a GM perspective). GM event registration begins on September 10^th, 2016.

The convention will run Wednesday, June 14^th through Sunday, June 18^th (This is Father’s Day weekend). Last year a prereg badge ran $55 (or $65 if you purchased onsite). Bruce and I did a hotel for 4 nights with two beds for around $600. We were about a mile away from the convention and drove daily. Parking was about $10 and was just across the street from the convention center. Figure it to be about $400 to attend including badge, hotel, parking and gas. That does not include food or any gaming purchases.

Who is considering going? I expect that Bruce is interested. Randy has expressed interest and Steve raised an eyebrow.

I am still trying to determine if I can swing going. If I do, it takes 16 hours of games to get a free GM badge. I expect I will do that without issue. 32 hours would get me a portion of a hotel room to share with the other Ubiquity GMs. I could do that but I am not sure I want to. I still have a few weeks to figure it out.

What do we want to do tomorrow?

We need to decide what we want to play tomorrow. I can run more of The Dragon's Demand or another PFS scenario. I believe that Bruce has a scenario or two ready. I think I need to get the next book of Reign of Winter to Dave so I do not believe that he has anything ready.

Please look it over and ensure the accuracy. Please provide updated levels, factions, classes, character names for your stable on the Character tracking tab.

Tuesday Fun Fund is Still Empty

Looking for contributions to our Tuesday Fun Fund. The fund currently has $0.

With 7 of us, I expect that each person should expect to contribute approximately $20 to $25 per year to keep us supplied with adventures and supplies. I have contributed the last $55 to the fund.

Updating PFS speadsheet

I need a bunch of information to get our PFS spreadsheet up to date.

I believe I need the following:

Something was run on June 22nd. I believe that it was #5-22 - Scars of the Third Crusade. I need to know who ran, who played,which characters received credit and if anyone was advancing on slow progression.

Need to know which characters received credit for The Snows of Summer. I have who played. I think everyone but Steve received full XP.

Need to know which characters received credit for We B4 Goblins! I have who played and ran.

I believe that this is the list of games that Dave, Steve and Bruce played at Gen Con:

I'll be running this on Gen-Con Eve.

I'll have pre-gens for you to play, but have a 1st or 2nd level PFS character in mind to receive the chronicle sheet.

I'm thinking of bringing the maps and stuff to Gen-Con to run for the other half of the group if we have time. (it is repeatable, David)
