Since Alan will not be there this Tuesday, are you guys game for trying out Shadows of Brimstone again?
I have watched several play through videos and have played myself 4 times with a couple of characters. I think I have the rules down to help navigate everyone through the game. Unlike last time, all the models are glued together and all the map tiles, tokens and cards are ready for use. Also unlike last time, we will track XP and money as you can level mid-game and money is needed when going to town.
I expect that we can get through an adventure and the post adventure trip to town with 6 players in our allotted time.
If folks like it, we can play when we are short players and/or we can try to find a modification to allow 7 players to play and keep some semblance of the game balance. (I have some ideas.)
works for me..
ReplyDeleteok. brimstone for casting fire spells.
ReplyDeleteOK. I have everything packed up and will bring it back over on Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteThere are 8 character classes to choose from; Bandido, Lawman, Gunslinger, Preacher, Indian Scout, U.S. Marshal, Rancher and Saloon Girl. If multiple folks want to play the same character class that is allowed. I have scanned the character cards and can always print up another. You just may need to share some gear and starting ability cards.
ReplyDeleteSetup is minimal now that I have everything assembled and organized. We can pretty much get started as soon as folks choose their character.
Dibs on Bandito, mi amigos!
ReplyDeleteKelly wants the Gunslinger.
ReplyDeleteRandy is down for the Saloon Girl/Piano Player.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll prey, I mean play, the preacher.
ReplyDeleteThere's a new sheriff in town. I'll take the Marshal.
