With our potential Tuesday gaming player pool growing, we will need to figure out to do if we end up with 8 players.
I bring this up as it sounds like Brad would like to join on a more regular basis and Steve is expecting to change work schedules in June and be able to start playing again.
PFS has a hard limit of 7 players. We might be able to skate by with random attendance misses but we have a problem when we have 8 players in attendance. I have done the split table thing in the past (twice), two tables of 4 players, but I would rather we not do that on a regular basis. We could break into two tables of a GM and 4 players and a GM and 3 players plus a pregen. That does not strike me as ideal either. I would like to have the solution in hand for when this happens.
We can try playing other game systems and/or Pathfinder modules and APs. To do that, the group will need to pick something and make characters. I have a ton of Pathfinder material. I also have Star Wars, Firefly, All For One, Leagues of Adventure, Space 1889, HEX and my supers game. I would also be interested in playing some other games.
Thoughts and input are appreciated.
i would suggest we have an AP on standby on the occasion we have 8 players. those can be fudged with to keep up with more players , i believe.
ReplyDeleteAnything that can be run in campaign mode for PFS credit can be modified by the GM The Dragon's Demand would be perfect. We still need characters.
ReplyDeleteNon Pathfinder games can also be made to work. My Hex and supers games work fine with 8 at conventions.
Maybe you could go over the guidelines for Dragons Demand character generation again to inspire folks. You know the do's & don't's. ie, no goblin characters.
