Are we interested in playtesting a card game for Paizo? The details are here: http://paizo.com/forums/dmtz6nal
I think we could easily do the 10 session version. The 30 session version might stretch our abilities/availability.
It would be something different.
Toughts?
i would play.
ReplyDeletewe could also play a game every week at the REAL starting time of 7:00PM, while we wait for everyone to actually get there...
I sent a note to our VC, Mason, expressing interest. I will see what he says.
DeleteIt would be cool to try at least the 10 session playtest. I would like to commit to the whole thing but 30 sessions might be hard to do. Plus there would be spoilers for anyone playing RotRL. (You are the only one in the Tuesday group but still would not want to spoil things.)
per the site..
DeleteIt will reveal the names and themes of many characters, locations, and other such details, yes.
However, since we're looking for groups to playtest two chapters, if you're on chapter 3 or beyond, feel free to specifically request that your group playtest chapters 1 and 2.
...and since i'm in chapter 5, i don't see a reason NOT to sign up for the 1st 2 chapters. since it'll probably be me you and the daves playing.
That was my thought. I have thrown our name in the ring for the 10 session version. We will see if we get picked.
Deleteand, really, chapters 1 & 2 were pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI am interested to see how this works as a card game.
DeleteI'm guessing it'll be like dragon storm or the warcraft CCG.
ReplyDeleteNot sure. I guess we will see. I have never played either so it will be a new experience for me either way.
DeleteGot an e-mail back from Paizo. It looks like we are on the list for the 10 session playtest. I do not know if that means we are in for sure but it looks promising.
Looks like we are in. I will be waiting for more information to come within the next few weeks.
DeleteShrug. We could do that. I'm damn sure not interested in investing in anything like Magic again.
ReplyDeletethe playtest is free.
DeleteI gather it will be more like a board game. 1 starter set for up to 4 players which includes the first adventure. Then an expansion which adds the ability to add two more players. And then adventure expansions.
DeleteFigure we get to try it for "free" and see what we think.
Looks like the playtest will begin near the end of this month.
